TESA TK100 Security Cylinder
There are different opinions about which is the best and most secure lock on the market.
For us there is no room for doubt... We work with several brands and with the best models of each one of them, but we are left with the TESA TK100.
Many customers over the last few years have come to us because they have suffered a robbery, and it is the State Security Forces and Corps that recommend buying this cylinder. It must be for a reason!
We analyse all its particularities below:
-Cylinder and keys (flat) protected by means of a patented mechanism: The manufacturer delivers the cylinder with 5 keys, but if we want to make any more copies, for security reasons they must be ordered from TESA from an Authorised Centre (us, for example), and always with the identification card that we will find in the original packaging. This guarantees protection against fraudulent key copies.
-10 multi-point pins with ORBITAL technology (patented): It is the only cylinder on the market with 10 internal security pins, which makes it practically impossible for a master key to unlock all its points and open the lock.
-Steel bridge reinforced against breakage: The lower part of the cylinder consists of a steel body that runs along its entire body, capable of withstanding a pressure of up to 2000 kilos of force. It is therefore impossible to gag or break the cylinder using the «lever method».
Anti-pull-out shield on the rotor: This steel shield prevents unauthorised persons from gaining access to the rotor and turning the cam that operates the door opening with the appropriate tools.
-Superior protection against «bumping» and picking: For a few years now, the previous models of the TESA brand or any other brand had almost completely eradicated these opening techniques commonly used by burglars, but in the TK100 model it is even «comical» to think that anyone would dare to even think of opening a door with these obsolete techniques.
-Drill protection higher than Grade 2: Grade 2 is the highest level of drill resistance that a cylinder can offer (between 5 and 10 minutes), with the TK100 being even higher. This is achieved by the black baked steel «lens» incorporated at the front, which almost completely eliminates the possibility of a drill reaching the rotor.
-Durability of 200,000 cycles and double security clutch: «Cycles» refers to the number of times the cylinder can be opened or closed, i.e. its lifespan.
The dual clutch system, on the other hand, allows us to open the door with the key from the outside, even if we have locked the door with a key from the inside.
-Certified according to the UNE-EN 1303 standard: All these features mean that the TK100 more than meets the highest standards in terms of safety certifications for cylinders.
