Save on garden fertiliser:

Fertilising is one of the most important tasks in gardening, because it provides crops with the nutrients they need to grow healthy and strong. To save on fertiliser, we can reuse those products rich in organic matter that feed the soil well and that are quite common and affordable:

• Eggshells: place them in a container filled with water, wait a couple of days and water your crops in that liquid.
• Infusions: black tea is excellent for ferns and coffee grounds for geranium, daisy and begonia.
• Carbonated mineral waterWater the plants with it to improve their condition. It is useful even if it has lost its gas.
• Effervescent aspirin: dissolve it in water and water your plant. You will see the results.
• Waste water from your fish tank: if you have a fish tank at home, reuse the dirty water for your indoor plants.
